This custom A-frame, located just west of downtown Suttons Bay, Michigan, was a pleasure to frame and is designed to serve as a future vacation rental.
The Challenge
This project presented unique challenges due to its unconventional design, as the engineering requirements of an A-frame home can push even the most seasoned carpenters beyond the typical build process.
Our Approach
Success on this project came from taking a measured approach and leaning on outside resources, including architects, engineers, and local code officials. This collaboration ensured the unique structure met all construction standards and passed the inspection process with confidence
